When you dig into all these that follow away from the faith you find that they had wrong Doctrine. Wrong Doctrine leads to wrong Behavior.

Joshua Harris was trained in a calvinist church. This would explain why he believes he was not a Christian. If a calvinist has sinful thoughts or actions they must not be born again, therefore they are not elected, therefore they are not a Christian. This can be their mentality. Instead of understanding that we are born again but are still in our flesh, therefore we must continually Beatdown are flesh, submit to the Holy Spirit, repent of our sins and walk in obedience to Christ. It's very sad because I'm afraid to say that Calvinism leads to an attitude of an excuse to sin. And or even walk away from the faith... believing you are not elected! That breaks my heart!
